    Answer honestly.
What makes you think he's the worthier opponent than Shane?
Pac is now a welterweight, if Marquez really think that he can beat Pac,
he should fight Pac at his best at 147, and not resort to dehydrating him again.

Did you see the first 2 fights?
    There is your answer...

Do I think JMM can beat Mosley @ 147lbs? Prob not.
What does one thing have to do w/The other?

JMM Vs. Pacquiao is a different fight "Style wise" than Vs. Mosley.

Don't beat around the bush. Do you honestly think Marquez is better than Mosley who is set to fight Pac 147? Do you honestly think Marquez has a chance at 147 which is Pac's battleground now?

JMM didn't look like a complete **** against his last two opponents. Shane hasn't been as active, and he had a poor outing against Mora.

JMM has no business at 147. If you had some sense, you would know that. Pac can still make the 140 weight or do some catch weight bout since Pac has no problem setting those up.

You are one of those people that will try to justify the Pac-Mosley fight.

What makes him more worthy? Simply because there's a custom that after 2 super-close, entertaining matches between 2 great fighters where no clear winner is really determined there's almost always a rubber match to solve it.

Mosley on the other hand has been inconsistent as hell for 8 years hasn't won a fight in about 2 years. So what makes him deserving?

The last sentence made me laugh by the way.

I thought you guys disdain catchweights. So, it is okay w/ Marquez then, but not good for Pac.
Another case of double standards.

"You guys," I'm a Pac fan, but the Mosley-Pac bout is bull****. Why fight Mosley? I can't reason it out other than for an easy win and money.

The bout would not be for a belt. It would be a fight for boxing.

Would the fight be for a belt? Is Pac some humongous welterweight that struggles to make 147?

If the answers no to both I have no issue with it. Most people on here don't have any qualms with catchweights unless there's a belt involved.

So, if you don't want it, don't watch it. IMO, Pac is entitled to have a get busy fight while the guy he's supposed to fight is in vacation. Forget about Marquez, he has no chance w/ Pac in 140-147.

At 147? No he is not better. At 140? Yes he is better (and Pac can easily make 140)

I won't pay for it, but I'll watch it none the less to see the one-sided beating. Why does Pac have to fight Mayweather leftovers?

As for Floyd, he's retired as far as I'm concerned so he shouldn't be brought up every single time we have a Pac discussion. Floyd comes back from retirement only when he's standing in the ring.

Because Floyd left in a huff, probably scared to lose his 0.

True, but Marquez at 147lbs? Sorry he gets KTFO...At 140lbs he's got a chance for a UD tho...

Economics? Mosley has never been a big draw. Arum is trying to convince everyone that Mosley is a big draw even on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Please, you must be delusional.

    1. How would that embaraass Floyd?

Floyd does not put the amount of pressure that Pac does so it was no surprise he didn't KO Mosley. Floyd did manage to make Mosley look like ****. If Pac KOs Mosley, they are going to say that Mosley is an old, shot fighter that's been on the decline since Margarito.

    2. He hasn't been able to fight his fight?

Just admit that Mosley is on the decline. The Mora fight should be enough proof of it.

    3. Mayweather Sr. is promoting this fight a bit, but he's also prompting people to keep a close eye on how Pac takes a shot from Mosley. He's planting doubt to support his claims of PED usage.

He could probably beat the Mosley that showed up against Mora. That's not saying anything about his chances against younger, more active welterweights though.
