Can Martinez and Mayweather fight in December?

    Martinez is locked for April 27 and probably September 16 (Mexican Independence Day). I think that Martinez can get past both opponents without needing much rehabilitation. Martinez and Mayweather could square off in a second weekend of December Fight for GOAT contention at 154.

    I don't think Martinez has much time left to make a huge statement and a lot of money. He has to fight three times this year to close the show. I think Mayweather's toughest opponent would be Martinez or Pacquiao, and we know the latter isn't going to happen.

    No this is bad - I would like 2 see Martinez fight Martin Murray then retire & I would like 2 see may fight Gurerro then retire - 2 champs out on top who's with me

    You're an idiot if you think floyd would ever fight martinez. He would not even fight Pacquiao for a lot more $$$$. You think he's going to fight a bigger southpaw? :lol::lol:
