I think so Maidana will be lucky to win 1 round.

Nah he'll get 10rounds, FMJ has this 'rest thing for a couple of rounds' then goes back to schooling his opponent after that

Fighters don't change, sure you can fix a few technical faults they may have but you can't make them fight differently or have quicker hand and foot speed. Despite what changes his trainer Robert Garcia claims to have made, he's still pretty much the exact same fighter who lost to Alexander 10-0.

People need to forget about the Broner fighter as unlike Alexander and Mayweather, Broner has poor footwork and just stands infront of his opponent which is great for someone like Maidana as it means he can load up on his punches.

Any fighter with great footwork or ring intelligence has beaten Maidana like Alexander, Khan, Kotelnik and an old shot Morales nearly beat him too.

If Mayweather wants to beat Maidana 12-0 i'm pretty sure he can do it but i think the fight will play more like the Canelo one in that Mayweather will sweep the first 9 rds and then take him foot off the gas in the championship rds and coast to victory which will probably allow Maidana to pick up and rd or two.

Mayweather has not fought a top-level opponent in their prime other than Marquez - which was an undersized man and a perfect matchup stylistically for Floyd. Mayweather is definitely not a top 35 p4p fighter all time.

With the exception of Marquez, literally all of Floyd's wins come against the following
    1) paper champions (Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, Ortiz, Castillo)
    2) washed up fighters past their best (Oscar - who isn't any good in his prime in the first place, Cotto, Mosley)
    3) padded record fighters with hype jobs by the media with no actual substance (Hatton, Canelo, Corrals)
    4) overrated people on the p4p rankings (Corrales, Canelo, Hatton)
    5) Bums in general (Canelo, Ortiz, Guerrero, Corrales, Baldomir, Mitchell, Ndou, , Hatton, Pep, Juuko, Gerena, Vargas, Corley, Bruseles, Chavez, Sosa)

He would get massacred by all time great boxers

i think he loses the first round , edges the second and easily wins every round from there.

It would be surprising if he won't.

Maydana will be swinging his wild uncoordinated hooks at thin air all night long, and coming at him on lines so perfectly straight they'll look drawed.
