    No because he isn't offensive.

No. It will probably resemble like Floyd vs. Oscar. Cotto got taken out by powerful punchers late in the fights. Floyd will hit him hard and clean and most likely school him late into the fight, but the first rounds towards the middle of the fight it will be very, very interesting.

No, Floyd's a safety first fighter. Has been for years now.

    I completely disagree.

I think Mayweather can KO Cotto. He won't beat him ala Margarito, but he can beat himthe way he beat Hatton.

As a matter a fact, I think he would have an easier time with Cotto than he did with Hatton and defitnately DLH.

Cotto is the type of fighter who needs a bit of a distance, not too much, but a bit to land his flashy punches, so he will be easier to hit because he will be at a range where PBF can use his quicker hands and reflexes..where with hatton and DLH, the fight was on the inside alot, and Mayweather would get smothered a bit.

You have to take into consideration Cotto's history of being put on ***** street by sneaking quick hands.

Sez you... Lil' Floyd is one of the most "offensive"........ jerks in the sports world. Now, is under arm odor musn't be too offensive, because he likes to smell it sooooo much...<snicker>

And to the TS Mayweather could never put a beat down on Cotto... Mayweather likes being called "Pretty Boy"...:hey

I think Cotto would get dismantled rather easily and stopped possibly late. But he would def. TRY to rough up Mayweather. Either by brute force or low blows. He does that a lot lol.

Mayweather is a defensive fighter. Pacquiao can fight aggressive and defensive though definitely not as successful defensively as Mayweather like Mayweather wouldn't be as successful as Pacquiao aggressively.

Margarito is a cheater, he basically loaded up his gloves to do what he did to Cotto. Margarito is one-dimensional with zero defense and skill. If you look at it closely even the cockroaches supporting Margarito are garbage pickers in real life.

I think mayweather could tko him if he wanted to but he is not that kinda fighter. I don't think he will do him like PAC and Margo but it will be a period of instruction like what he did to mosley

No because he's out of boxing until at least 2012, best case scenario, worst case he will never fight again.

Floyd would tag Cotto at will. I wouldn't be surprised to see him stop Cotto on cuts or something of that nature. Most likely Floyd just wins it wide on the cards.
