Can Mayweather Hurt Alvarez at 154lbs?

    Good post...I just wanted to hear opinions...regarding Mayweather's ability to get respect or keep Canelo off him at that weight...I don't want Floyd weighing in at 147 in this fight...or it could be a problem

    Mayweather has never had an opponent walk right at him, he's had everyone's respect that I can think of, so there must be something behind those punches.

    He's also a kid, who's used to being able to hit the opponent whenever he wants too.

    This fight he'd be getting hit, and have trouble landing his own shots.

    He can "technically" hurt him, but not to the point of KO/TKO. Floyd can hurt him enough to slow/wear him down to preserve a UD.

    Alvarez comes into the ring about 170 lbs. I doubt Mayweather could seriously hurt him.
