He won't have to match Pacquaio's work rate. Mayweather is a counter puncher. He will catch Pacquaio coming in and slip away.

Manny's work rate will drop if he fights Floyd. He is too small to physically push and impose his will on Floyd. He will learn the same lesson Oscar learned, getting countered makes you not want to throw.

I doubt it. That is how Oscar won rounds and got a SD loss instead of a shut out. A bunch of rabbit punches while PBF was shelled up.

MP is too fast to run from while pot shotting, like Baldomir. And too popular to rely only on defense like DLH. Also I think MP is fast and conditioned enough to be a lot more successfull than DLH on a shoulder rolling PBF.

Mayweather will have to beat MP. No doubt about it. Clearly and decisively. I believe he will.

Floyd does not beat the **** out of any top fighter let alone the p4p 1. Thats not his style. Judah is basically the king of 4 rounders. My fear with pacquiao is that so far he hasnt demonstrated an ability to change mid fight, rather relying on his coach to tell him what to do.

Mayweather does not have an unlimited number of styles. Although he can change mid fight or even mid round. However on several occasions in the judah fight floyd did miss badly with his right hand lead. Maybe there is something to exploit there.

Pacquiao's biggest problem which revealed itself in the first EM fight is he struggles with guys with a big reach advantage. Mayweather knows how to reach his reach advantage.

Mayweather should not fight this fight at long range as that is where MP is able to get his power combinations off from. A jab to the body however dangerous will be far more effective. Also i expect to see alot of smoothering of pacquiao, which i know pbf can do based on the hatton fight.
