    Floyd opponent would have to be a damn good one, to take another Mexican holiday away from him. What opponent would he have face to achieve it?

    If Canelo can face Cotto around that same time. I don't think Khan would be enough.

    How can Mayweather steal his own date? Anyway, Mayweather is fighting September 12th. Canelo vs Cotto will take place in October or November.

    Whoever he fights he's stealing the date and Golden Boy will step aside and pick any other date. Mayweather's coming off a fight that sold 4.5 million buys. It's really not easy to compete with someone coming off a fight that generated the most attention in the sport's history.

    It never mattered who the opponent was. September is his date as well as may '16 if/when he goes for 50-0.

    Khan, Brook, Cotto, Alvarez.
    Those are the big names. With Alvarez vs Cotto being basically signed, that leaves the two Brits.
    Brook is not well knows in the U.S. and Khan is coming off a lackluster performance.
