    He already has a win over the European champ so I'd think that is a fair assumption he could.

    Jackiewicz is somewhat improved nowadays though...plus there are a few other capable welterweights in Europe.

    Just because Jennings came up short against Cotto does not mean he cannot be a champion at European level. The level Cotto is at right now is far above Euro champ level.

    Jackson Osei Bonsu and Selcuk Aydin are fighting for the vacant european title in july, Jennings against the winner would be a decent fight but id bet against him in that one.
