I was wondering, no one can really match Donaire's skills, dude is special talent at 118 and has good power for that weight. Now Montiel is also a skillful fighter, that needs to work on his defensive skills when attacking.. Same as JMM they never bring back that left fast enough and high when offensive. He weighed 134 at fight night which means he had to cut a massive amount of weight, so maybe he can do better at 122/126. Can Montiel shine at 122/126? or is he to small? I really want him to come back hard? what's your take? I have high hopes.
I think 122 would be ideal since there were rumors that he was showing signs of difficulties making the weight. But like you said, he needs to work on those flaws and retreat after attacking. I dont think any other fighter can capitalize on those flaws as good as Donaire though hes like a sniper I guarantee you that he was working on that hook for weeks.
