I've questioned Mosley's win against Margarito. And even B-Hop's win over Pavlik. But, there is no proof that they took anything for these fights. Their endurance for these fights at their age was incredible. Mosley never looked that fast and strong in these last couple of years. Bernard has showed his age in his last couple of fights until he beat a 26 year old stud from Youngstown, Ohio. We can only say what the fug is going on, but, we have no proof.
That's the beauty and the curse of a substance like HGH. On one hand, an athlete who uses it will always test negative and will, by and large, get the benefit of the doubt...but on the other, athletes who legitimately are clean will have question marks around their performances as people find out how easy it is to beat the system. The very definition of a two-edged sword. As far as how you catch who's using it? If it's not by receipts or sales records, it's not going to happen.
I would beg to differ since the old saying goes like this, "Once a cheater always a cheater." Or is that just reserved for Margarito? Just asking because I think it is an utter disgrace what Margarito did; however, everyone and their mother seems to have forgiven or simply forgotten what Shane "Sugar Roids" Mosley did.
No they haven't. They keep bringing up **** from 03. Also, they tend to ignore the lie detector test.
They (critics) tend to ignore the lie detector test yet NOTHING has been presented in the Margarito case that says he had plaster-of-paris **** in his wraps. Again, whether or not he did, I think it is a disgrace on his part for even bringing into question that he was doing something illegal. I was a fan of his, but as of now I am not.
What does the lie detector test have to do with it? It achieves nothing, other than to show that either SSM truly was unaware that he was taking banned substances, which doesn't excuse him taking a banned substance, or it shows that SSM is a good liar. Why do people keep bringing up the fact that he passed a lie detector test? He still stood up in court and admitted he was injecting himself with EPO daily. Whether or not he knew it was a banned substance means little if the EPO assisted him in winning fights throughout the period he was taking it.
Shane has been juicing for a long time. Many boxing insiders suspected in from way back when. He only recently confirmed it is all. Anyone remember his very first title win on HBO against the very ordinary Phillip Holiday. I remember it very clearly. Shane won in less than impressive fashion and after wards he tried to say it was because "his creatine gave him diarrhea" and it messed him up. Bull ****. He was just very nervous about being caught juicing for his first title shot and didn't use leading up to that particular fight. Juiced up Shane would have murdered crappy Holiday in under 5. How convenient that the "creatine" he had been using for years suddenly fux his stomach up for that fight alone. I always liked watching Mosley but his explosive style always made me wonder....
No trial will ever come up dude. The investigators and prosecutors knew that they don't have any conclusive evidence and it won't stand up in court. If they do . . . these thing could have blown out of proportion by now. :deal Sorry to disappoint you.
