Boom :thumbsup Floyd simply isnt busy enough. If he stays in the cup he's getting knocked out. If he can get Shanes respect and hurt him it may be a fight. But thats a MASSIVE if. Floyd doesnt have the power to hurt Shane nor the punch output to keep him at bay. Shane is exceptional at over powering smaller opponents. Smaller guys never give him trouble. Floyd has his hands full thats real. Shane by UD possible late TKO.

It's amazing how many people are suggesting Floyd will win an easy decision. It's amazing how wrong they're going to be.

What if the pope isnt a Catholic? Floyd isnt going to win a fight with Shane by sticking and moving.

    i avoided the reads...

    yeah..he can.

he got a man telling him his placement in the levels and history of being a "sugar"
he lets shane know that floyd is the one out to prove something....and he picked the wrong one...

the training he is going through is a bit different.

standard but with some spice. ..... mosley wasn't worth nothing to the pac camp.
when he presented himself...and was willing to die like oscar and dry out like some kind of odd vegetable or fruit... to fight him...they even said no then.

mosley was too much of a threat then to the pac camp.

money may will fight him.... and even play the villain on tv to sell it.
mosley is more of a danger than pac is ......."yeah sure...ok!" they say
it really is the truth .

manny at the end of the clottey fight says... yess...uhhh ...uhhhh....uhhhh...uhhhh...
(sorry thats how it was) i will fight mayweather...he should win...but if the mosley win...maybe i fight mosley.

this mosley would beat pac...not the catchweight mose.

this wayweather will beat pac as well.

Cotto was very fortunate to walk away with a decision. He lost the later rounds and the consensus was that that fight was a draw. Either way stylistically theres no comparison. Cotto is a much bigger puncher than PBF. Like i said if PBF cant get Shanes respect he's not going to win. Remember PBF vs Castillo 1? Shane is 10 times he fighter Castillo was.

I don't know exactly what Nazim wants Shane to do since he's still watching Floyd's tapes and helping Mosley to develop a good technical approach that would be effective, aggressive and to take control in ring generalship. However, Shane can't turn into Hopkins overnight and that would be fighting completly out of character which could have negative results in what concerns to judges appreciation. Therefore, I think Nazim can help Shane to make best use of his engine and give him instructions on how to solve Mayweather's defensive puzzle - cutting off the ring, leading his way in with punches, timing Floyd when he's inactive on defensive tasks...

It's not just about being on the backfoot, it was about the punches used, too. Cotto was nailing Shane with the jab a bit. You could actually make a reasonable argument that Cotto has a better jab than Floyd.

You really need to do a better job of LISTENING. I advise you to go back and read some of my earlier threads. Nazzim does not plan to have Shane fighting off the back foot.....giving lateral movement does NOT mean you are stepping back and countering exclusively.

i think you need to do the listening, because i never mentioned shane going on the backfoot, nor do i expect floyd to put shane on the backfoot. what i said is shane won't be looking for counters when floyd throws, he'll be looking to just trying to get punches in because that's how shane fights. he might be training to counter as a gameplan, but eventually habit will kick in and shane will fight the way shane always fights.
