Shane loses a big chance to prove himself and test his ability as a fighter. He can't stay inactive until summer 2010 and still perform like he did last time out. All these great fighters get way below top shape when they stay inactive for that long - Shane was not the same when he took on Cotto after Collazo in many ways... Look, Jin protected Shane but also avoided him to be on center stage against Floyd after he took on Vargas twice in 2006 and look how much Floyd gained and how much Shane lost since... Again, Shane lets it get away from him to guys like Cotto, Floyd and others... It makes me think Shane is fundamentally wrongly managed/promoted by Hoya/GBP while Arum/Top Rank inc. gets his fighters all the main fights out there... Shane is losing his chance and running out of time. It's time to go at it NOW, SSM!
