28 at the time, still a lot of years to fight. Does he have the opposition, talent, and desire to attempt to surpass some of his great contemporaries and predecessors?

    Ioka is closer to Harada.

Granted, he has less time remaining to him than Inoue.

Neither will topple Harada, though. Too much ground to make up.

Inoue also doesn't really seem eager to push himself. I wouldn't be surprised if this run of poor opposition continues for a while, like it did at 115.

Yeah, and the OP did compartmentalize those, so:

    Talent - yes ✓
Opposition - no, unless he goes on like a 5-6 division tear. X
Ambition - would seem not. :ohno

I don't think Inoue, or Ioka is as talented as Harada was.

Sorry but I don't care who you've beaten if you get knocked senseless and stopped at 26 years of age by a noodle-armed featherfist who sports a hideous KO 29% in the 15 round era and who only registered one other stoppage defeat in their last 11 fights of their career you being the third to last one it completely invalidates your entire career

Harada sported a grotesque KO 35% himself

If I spawned a son who got knocked out by someone with a sub KO30% I'd take him out back and paddle his ass baboon red and then completely disown him, let alone if he in addition to that also sported horrific KO35%

Yes he certainly can. IMO Inoue has the talent to become the greatest Japanese fighter of all time, if not number one at least top five.

It's not Inoue's fault the entire bantamweight division is running away from him. At super flyweight the stars were never aligned in his favor as well. An unification bout with Gonzalez was set before Chocolatito suffered back to back defeats against Rungvisai, his team tried on multiple occasions to make the Ancajas bout which Ancajas' team rejected each time, Kal Yafai rejected the fight as well at one point.

But fear not! 2022 will be the year where we finally see Gojira become undisputed after vicious and scintillating koes over the likes of Casimero and Donaire! Plus a world title around his waist at 122 pounds!

He already has in some ways.

Inoue is a 3 weight world champion. Harada only won titles in 2 weight classes.

If by talented we mean athletically gifted (excluding skill, hustle/heart, and other intangibles) then Inoue is the most and Ioka is the least of the three IMO.
Yeah but beating Éder Jofre just once crushes Inoue's résumé single-handedly, let alone twice.

I don't really know much about Harada. Sorry.
