Harada assured himself a CCA score of 150 plus when he not only lasted but whipped Jofre twice...when he was actually in his prime.

Impossible. Even Gvozdyk whose CCA is absolutely immaculate has never registered a score that high

Nothing too garish or egregious here but it's obviously been re-colourized by fans of them in order to hide their below average CCA

Gvozdk's CCA is boring and woefully overrated. 75 at best. :deal:

    Zzzzzzzzzzzz...

    Huh...?

    What?

Oh...Sorry...Must have dozed off from the sheer monotony that emanates from The Nail.

Anyway, Happy New Year and all that, Serge. Harada's pretty good, eh?

Accomplishments he already passed Harada, but there's that issue that many top fighters face when they are compared to legends, what if they themselves are constantly "the man" and there's no rivalry or legend to beat? Or the legend was already beaten and past it?
Then you can only beat the guys in front of you, and accomplish as much on your own as possible.

My guess at the end of the day, after retirement, Inoue will probably come out on top. Too much depth together with 3 divisions where he has been the man, and beating 2 past it but still top level legends, with quite a number of years to go.

Happy new year to you too

I know who Harada is but I've never actually seen any of his fights before. I'll check some of them out sometime

Sometimes, a fighter is so good that they don't have a true rival. Like Roy Jones Jr. or Pernell Whitaker.

    You obviously disagree, but why?
What did Harada do more which Inoue didn't?
Which accomplishment misses in Inoue's list compared to Harada's?
The only reasons why Harada is still slightly above Inoue is his wins over a legend and his longlivity.

Harada's résumé eclipses Inoue's by light years. Inoue has one win as good as a win over Caraballo; it's perfectly arguable Caraballo isn't even in Harada's top five.

Inoue isn't even the second best Japanese fighter ever, probably not even top five. He's being hyped because of recency bias.

Harada didn't even have much longevity, he was retired shot by the age of 26.

Accomplishments isn't about who you fought, but the titles and championships.
And there's also Narvaez and Donaire on his list. Formerly very high rated p4p boxers.

Narvaez was old as dirt. Donaire is the lone win I was talking about.

Résumé is by far the best way to compare people from different eras, as there was always less titles/divisions in older eras. Inoue hasn't been lineal in any division, Harada was undisputed in two and badly robbed on his third. Had he been given the win over Fammo like he should've been, he'd also be the only fighter to ever win the fly, bantam and featherweight lineal titles.

Harada is leagues above Inoue under any standard.
