Can Pac and Floyd end their careers without fighting each other and be called...

    legends??? My answer is HELL no! It all depends on the out come of the July 18th fight between Floyd and Marquez. If Floyd beats J.M.M, Pac can't ignore Floyd...ever. They can talk about wanting to fight Cotto, but once the fans hear what Top Rank has to say about why they are not trying to make the Floyd-Pac happen...for any reason, PAc will be exlaxed on. I don't want that to happen to PAc, but mark my words...the fans always speak out. Floyd can't ask for the lion's share of the pot also, and price himself out of the fight...that really goes for both fighters. This fight is too big not to be made.

    PAc might be pushed into a corner, and only Arum can rescue him July 18th and beyond. Roach will scream fight us at a catch weight of 142. They had no problem fighting Dlh at 147 because they knew he would be weak making 147, but they will ask Floyd to fight at 142 and cry Floyd is too big for PAc. This was obvious when Pac's fans made the comparison of how Pac beat Dlh and how Floyd beat Dlh lol. Those posts were killing me lol. This fight won't take place this year, and it will be because of Arum...watch. I hope it happens.

    If this BS about mosely offereing an 80/20 split is true then it might not if moely whoops pac back to retirement.

    Let's hope it happens. And let's hope Manny Pacquiao wins for the good of boxing. He is a great role model for the sport and such an exciting fighter to watch.

    I'm so hyped for this fight.

    Imo they don't need eachother at all. Pac could retire right now after all he has accomplished. Can't say that about Floyd though:rofl

    Pac should boycott Floyd because Floyd doesn't deserve this fight and a possible win against Pac.

    Floyd should fight who he SHOULD fight, no matter how easy he can win. Mosley, Cotto, Williams, Margarito are names that Floyd needs on his resume if he wants to be taken seriously. Cherrypicker.

    BTW you seem a little too obsessed with this fight.:huh

    It would leave the door open for Floyd to be fightng the fighters he should be fighting instead of making smaller guys move up in weight

    Pac is not wanting for competition to prove his worth further, He did it already.

    He is a legend. He cemented it twice, against delahoya and hatton, no matter how you will judge that competition.

    yes they can, neither fighter needs each other to complete their legacy, sure it will be better but it doesn't have to happen, pac can clean out 140 and possibly go back to 135 and clean that out too, Mayweather can clean out 147 and possibly 154.

    PBF's whole reason to come out of retirement was to target Pac. If this fight doesn't get made Pac will look worse IMO. PBF wants Pac but it doesn't seem that team Pac wants PBF.

    A year ago, if you even mention PBF as a possible opponent for Pac, you are called CRAZY and out of mind.

    At this point I agree that Pac needs to prove more in beating fighting and beating Floyd. But as for Floyd, fighting and beating Pac means less than Pac beating Floyd. Of course not into the eyes of Floydies. :hi:

    But the real question should be, would Floyd be considered a legend if he retired without fighting any other legit top welter, being himself a once undefeated champion at the division.
