What is the highest weight class Pac can fight in and be champion?

Remember Hopkins joke about wanting Pac/DLH winner, imagine if that fight material. :nut

140 is is limit for being a champion,he can beat welterweights but not margarito,he has a small chance against cotto (judging by the mallignaggi fight),no chance against paul williams ,at 140 he can beat everyone but Id say hatton is a 50/50 fight

The natural weight at this point looks like 135. However, he can win fights at 140. Despite tonights results Manny simply shouldn't test his luck again at 147. And there is now no need to. He is a superstar. No need to take risks that don't make sense.

Nope, i'm a Pacquiao fan but i don't even see him winning against Andre Berto. He's a bad match up for him stylistically.

Nah man, Manny has a very good chance against Hatton, he won't make it against the top of the crop Welterweights who are in their prime and putting the hurt in their opponents.

roach himself that no fights at 147 will be made except for dlh and maybe pbf. he'll take hatton next for sure and he'll likely end his career at 140

Pac might put a whipping on Berto. Skill wise its not close but Berto's got good handspeed and much bigger.

I think he can be competitive @47, but make some real noise @140. 135 would b his best though

Pac would be favourite against anyone from 130-140...and he can make those weights too. I dont see him beating guys like Margo who will come into fight 160+.

I dont think he needs to, in fact I think he needs to drop weight straight away, he has Hatton at 140, and 135 is one of the best divisions in boxing. He is still more of a lightweight than a welterweight.

This going up weight classes business is just too crazy.

I thought Pac and his management team were nuts for trying to go up to 126 to face Barrera. I thought they were nuts.

And I was like :patsch when they accepted to go up to 130 to face Morales.

Pac's career just boggles my mind.
