Threadstealer has it right. A comparable fight to Leonard/Duran is Mosley/DLH 1. DLH was the man at welter, goldenboy, no real loss on his resume (the Tito fight was not held as a loss by most in boxing), and the fact that the fight turned into a war and DLH's first real loss matches the earlier fight exactly.
stupid ass thread just to ask this question damn some people here are a little crazy or they just dont know anything about boxing :hat
On a surface level yes! But PAC was in his prime....DLH was not. Duran and Leonard were both in their prime when they faced off for the first time. So Duran vs Leonard was more of a compelling matchup. Now I will say this.....at the time DLH was seen as still a very capable and ELITE level fighter which is why PAC was the underdog. Based on DLH being so competitve with Floyd and in some peoples eyes he won (Not mine). But the way PAC destroyed DLH NO ONE will accept that Duran vs SRL was on the level of DLH vs PAC b/c of how different the fights played out.
both were under 30 , both were the number 1 in their divisions, so no , and in fact nowhere near. this thread is a little uneducated.
You are the most ******ed poster on this site. Yet another horrible comparison and utterly **** thread.
