considering that pac just fought jmm in a war of a rematch, him choosing d. diaz as his very next opponent is not that bad, this being pac's first fight @135. d. diaz is a decent, prime B level fighter. jmm has fought the likes of salido, polo, jandaeng and jaca. david diaz is better than all of these guys.

Here we go again with the ABC logic..

Styles makes fights.. ever heard of it?

BTW i never made a definite pick for hatton/pac... My initial thought was pacman but im starting to think again..

Hatton clearly has the advantage at 140...

well, i did say that j. diaz is B+ and d. diaz is B. j. diaz is better but not exactly a world of difference in class between the two. i'll probably put d. diaz in the same class as katsidis while j. diaz and casa are just above them.

the question should be asked, 'can juan diaz beat pac?'

i still think juan diaz is a decent opponent. He got outboxed by Galaxy Nate and just brutalized by JMM. Does he have the tools to beat Pac. Yes. Will he beat Pac...doubt it.

What does Juan Diaz have stylistically? No power, no lateral movement, no head movement, just a come forward quantity puncher.

Even when he defeated Freitas, I never saw anything special with this kid. He just smothered Freitas and probably hit him with 100 "power shots" yet never was Freitas near being KOed or even marked.

So once again, kindly enlighten me about how special the style of Juan Diaz is?

What fight did you see that Pac was being backed up? Easier said than done.

I'd take Pac to beat Diaz...Pac would be alot faster and his side to side movement would throw the Baby Bull all over!

In the past he looked confused if he was having to back up....but now he circles, uses angles and pops the jab nicely. He wouldn't have problems laying traps for juan and makeing him pay for his overly aggressive style. That kind of style just won't work on PAC.

That was a while back with a less dynamic PAC. Juan would do what he always does....apply pressure from the onset and look to suffocate PAC. PAC's foot work, speed and jab would give him all the space and opportunities to capitolize on Juan's aggressive offense.
