How good his trainer was and how well they gelled? How would we ever know though? How well did Eddie Perkins gel with the people he worked with? What about Pete Herman?

I say judge a fighter on what he does in the ring not on how he trains/how he develops the details of his strategy.

The manner certainly is, but not only that the wins themselves are better scalps than Armstrongs

Pacman is just the type of guy to shut up PBF's mouth.

Kinda like on the schoolyard...run your mouth too much and someone transfers in from another school and all of sudden you have a real challenge on your hands.

I think PBF knows it too.

I have a feeling that PBFs style will beat manny without alarm bells.
The question may then be,how good is pac even if he loses to floyd?
Duran losing to hearns doesnt really impact on durans greatness. (and the analogy of pac/floyd with duran/hearns is not totally valid either.)
So i suggest judging manny now, surely he is up there p4p with hearns, armstrong,de la hoya and duran in terms of weight jumping effectivenss? (though not necessarily as great overall as some of those aformentioned.) And pacs resume is outwardly exceptional....

No disrespect to Pacquiao but Armstrong was a legend and is in a class of his own when it comes to heart and endurance. Only Joe Frazier and Marciano even register on the Armstrong scale of heart and endurance.

I don't think Pacquiao would be able to hold as many titles as Hank but I'll give him the respect for being a fighting champion. If he beats Mayweather, his legacy becomes that much greater.
