Arum is strongly considering Cotto to put in with Pacquiao on Nov. 10th as Cotto brings in more money on pay per view due to his large fan base no matter where the fight takes place. However, the one problem that may get in the way of the fight from taking place is Pacquiao’s likely request for another catchweight handicap at 150 instead of 154. Can Pacquiao still beat Cotto without a catchweight handicap?
At 150 Pac will have a chance, but not only is it the weight but Cotto looks great with his new trainer Pedro Diaz. You cant deny what Diaz is doing is 100x better than the guy who trained Cotto for his last fight vs Pac, waiving his mitts over Cottos head and having 0 experience being the head coach before. At 154, Cotto will win convincingly.
I heard Bob leaked the Dec 1st date to scare Marquez in deopping his purse and venue demands. Marquez will take the fight before its too late. He could get the nod but with the controversy vs Bradley, i doubt he does. Im expecting Pac Marquez 4 on Nov. 10.
yes you guys act as if the 2 pounds really hurt Miguel it didnt, in fact Miguel put more hurt on Manny than any of his opponents did up til the 3rd Marquez fight at 147, Miguel himself stated after the fight the weight was not a factor. This is just your typical clash of styles think about it for a second, Corley had him buzzed with that south paw right hook, Judah had him stunned with that south paw left uppercut, Manny has both weapons and is an all round better fighter than both of those guys combined, its a style thing Cotto will never beat Manny unless he gets a shot version and even then thats up for debate
