Bradley got to watch he don't get caught coming in but when he gets inside he got to work when he's on pacs toes snapping him to the body he's not in punching range it's the safest possible place for him to be IMO

The uppercuts were because Cotto was staggered/bending over, they weren't due to proximity, merely throwing uppercuts doesn't really denote inside fighting in my opinion

I'm not sure about the forearm/shoulder thing? Is it at the end of the gif? he ended up turning/manouvouring around Cotto and resuming his straight-punching range, which is my point, he isn't comfortable fighting on the inside as when ever he someone gets inside him, he outmanouveres them till he's mid-range again

He isn't totally inept on the inside but I certainly wouldn't call him an inside fighter or someone who is good at it, it's one of his weaknesess

How is he not in close promixity?:huh He's obviously close enough where he's not getting full extension on his shots and he's just about shoulder to shoulder. I'm referring to the mid part of the gif.

I agree hes not good on the inside but as i just showed in that gif hes capable of landing short shots on the inside while maneuvering out, and he's effective at that. He isn't good when he lays on the inside for an extended period. There's another example in the fight where he lands some short uppercuts on the inside and spins Cotto around while in a semi-clinch. So he does have some tools there on the inside.

This gif shows you what went wrong for Cotto in that fight, look at their feet, keep in mind Cotto is naturally left handed and often switch hits, he moves to his right almost all the time here.
Notice How Manny spins off to his right and the entire time keeps his right foot on the outside.
This is likely why Manny looked so good and Floyd had a harder fight.

actually, emmanuel would be better if he knew how to cut off a ring like inside fighters.

It only makes sense that someone so aggressive with good punching power knows how to cut off a ring, but he can't cut one off.

If anything, emmanuel also has lousy footwork for being unable to cut off a ring despite being very offensive.

If he lets him get inside, then it's gonna be punished to the body and headbutted. i would rather keep him at bay all night long or as long as it takes.

I think it's a pretty ridiculous assertion to suggest infighters are only infighters because they have lousy footwork...some of the best infighters have had some of the best footwork. Good footwork does not have to equal flashy movement.

As for Pac, he doesn't really do work on the inside. He actually has a habit of simply shelling up at that range. He does his best work at mid-range.

Well.. that's one of the reasons. In reality manny used superior footwork, combinations, speed, and angles to beat Cotto. Best performance of his career, IMO.

Not really, but he doesn't need to.. He usually keeps himself in the mid-range distance and he never really let's any fighter get on the inside of him too often.. I doubt there will be any inside fighting unless Bradley feel's Pac's speed and power is too much for him and need's to shorten up Pac's throws, then he might try to smother Pac, but then that could lead to a KO..

He knows he needs to keep that right foot on the outside no doubt, When is the last time Manny has faced a young undefeated fighter in their prime?:think

People who say Manny can't fight on the inside should look at his old fights when he was younger. PAC is a mid-range fighter now cause he's getting more intelligent. But to say he can't fight inside is idiotic.
