Took you long enough. And as far as I'm concerned, if Paul says he can make it, he can make it. What reason do we have to doubt him? He's the professional boxer, not us.
Paul can make 147 without a doubt. I personally think the bitches down there will keep avoiding him, so he may be better off just working 154 so he can (a) put Cotto out of his misery, (b) welcome Margarito back with an ass-whippin, (c) shut these jackasses up about Dzinzurick, and (d) go back to war with Martinez.
I was comenting on why he left WW in the first place. He was supposed to fight Cintron right after beating Margo, and Cintron bitched out. But Cintron hurt himself and wouldn't reschedule. SO he went for Quintana, and you know how that turned out.
I don't doubt he can make it on the scales, but I seriously doubt he can do it viably. It's just not good for you. I'd worry about him ODLHing himself.
I think Cintron pulled out of a Clottey fight too. And technically I think he pulled out of the Martinez fight during the actual fight and still got a draw. Which was pretty impressive. That Cintron is talented.
you feeling ok? that seemed like a perfect lead in to a shot about how he went from training for kelly to sergio
atsch Which reminds me... The fight is May 8th in LA. (I will be arriving on May 5th - Oh ****! Cinco de Mayo) I was about to go ahead and pay for my reservations and ****... But I don't know. Cintron might pull a ****ing fast one... again.
I won't believe it until I see him in a fight AND look dominant. Beat down Cintron, Clottey, Jennings, somebody decent at WW before you put him in with guys that are on the cusp of ATG status. It would be a disservice to him and boxing fans if he says, "I just didn't have anything... I will go back up." in the post fight.
he probably could but for what? pacquiao, mayweather, and mosely wont go near him. doubt berto camp would put him in there. margo ducked out of a rematch. he might as well stay at 154.
**** that ATG ****. Paul will go down to 147 and stretch some ****in body.:smoke Seriously, it's not as if he weighed 160 for Sergio. He weighed in at 157, after eating a healthy Pacmanlike diet. He cuts a few calories and he's there.
