I think by the time he's done he can win a title from 147-175. He's got 2 down, 3 to go!

The way he won tonight, I don't doubt it, and I was one of Winky's biggest backers for tonight's fight (although I am a fan of both). He won't ever be undisputed at all those divisions, but he can certainly get a title in each.

Not at 168. Power level is too much there. He would be getting cracked. 147-154 are his divisions. I think he could pick up a title at 160, but Pavlik, Abraham would both bang him up, Sturm also if he comes in focused. A lot of guys at 160 would give him problems actually

I'd favor Williams over both Bute and Diaconu. He could do it. Whether he will is another story, but he certainly could, given the right matchmaking.

The only man to win a title at 147 and go all the way to 175 was the great Thomas Hearns. So that would be a great accomplishment to match Thomas Hearns. I am not sure he can do it though. Hearns actually won a title at 190 the WBU title and the IBO.. But most people do not recognize those. Williams fights like Michael Nunn a little.

There are so many belts and Williams has so many potential in him... I wouldn't be suprised if he would become titlist all the way to 200

But that doesnt make him Tommy Hearns...unless he beats the best

Well your wrong about that, Leonard did that was well. Winning titles from welterweight to Light Heavyweight. Mayweather won titles from jr Lightweight to jr middleweight. Im not saying that winning five titles in five weight classes is easy, but there are two things...Its much easier to do now then in the past, and we cant just make history what we want it to be.

Williams could do it and do it fairly easy if you ask me...147-DONE, 154-Done...He could go after a weak belt holder at 160 someone like Strum who he could beat..That would be 160-DONE, then 168 do the same thing get a fight with Balzsay again a fight that Williams would be a favorite to win..168-DONE.

I dont think that he will do that because Balzsay will likely be fighting Dirrell by the end of the year, or start of the next one. Which would be a much harder fight to get for Williams.

I think its a possibility he has all the phyisical attributes to do that.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves, he isnt unbeatable, but he is heading towards the P4P top 10.

yes...specially if dawson decides to move up...but the 175 is tricky one...there is taylor, kessler, lara down the road...they can finish one's career

    then go 160

dont start recognising interim titles jeff:bbb. Not that he could nt boss 154 tho. They guy's obviously got the potential. I dont think he'd be out of his depth at middle or super middle. His willingness to make any weight over 3 or 4 divisions; thats brilliant and there should be more attitudes like this in boxing. Nevertheless, that same attitude could be his downfall.

    168 is dangerous for Williams

    Kessler
    Lucian Bute
    Andre Dirrell
    Jermain Taylor
    Anthony Dirrell
    Karoly Balzsay
Arthur Abraham and Kelly Pavlik moving to 168 soon

All of them are capable of knocking out Williams, he might fight one of those fighters to pick up a belt, but not now. His skill level hasn't evolved enough to hang around 168 and compete with the top fighters there.

    hmm says......
5 is asking a lot. Maybe 3 but 4 I dunno. Some of you good folks are counting him out in terms of power if he moves up any higher against other "naturally stronger" folks. Remember, the guy is 6'0" and naturally he can be weighing more for his ideal weight and the power is naturally there. I'm sure if he does go up in weight and with proper training, he'll be able to do fine.. if he keeps his stamina, speed, and improves his punching power. Williams is good but I'm not gonna jump head over heels.

Ideal weight according to body mass index
    6' 0" 139-183 lbs ideal range
    178 lbs
