He's obviously big and strong enough to hang at least with the top 5. He is a threat to win a title at that weight, just due to his power alone. Needs to avoid more punches at that weight.

Do you think he would stand up to Andrade, say...? Or Froch? How about a fully recovered Lacy? (all outside the top 4...)

Taking a look at the top 3 in the super middles:

Pavlik - Mundine: I'd take Pavlik by UD in a barnburner.

Pavlik - Kessler: 50/50 fight. Pavlik by UD.

Pavlik - Calzaghe: Joe is the favorite here for me. But I'd be cheering for KP.

    Pavlik TKO8 Lacy

    Pavlik TKO5 Andrade

    Haven't seen enough of Froch.

Kessler to beat him via UD...

Joe could trap himself into a power punch by KP but normally he also wins a UD...or maybe another Mitchell vs. JC?

Mundine can't see probably, so this isn't even competative - but a Mundine in shape of the Green fight could also beat KP via UD...

I am very surprised by your predictions! Froch is a puncher, by the way.

Let's put it this way...how would a SMW with a less than solid chin at 168 do against a light heavy puncher with a solid chin at 175? Say...Mundine versus Tarver in 2002-3?

Froch would get KO'd also, he keeps his left hand way too low.

I am afraid the people you are directing your question to won't get your point or they will refuse to accept it. Oh well, at least we will get good odds.;)

Mundine would have gotten KOed by Tarver in 2002, at 175.;)

Hmm and you're "saying" Pavlik is like Mundine?
