Can Pedro Campa upset Teofimo Lopez ?

Anything is possible and a guy as cocky as Lopez is we never know how he will react after suffering his first loss some guys with that same mentality are never the same afterwards if he loses to this guy hes cooked but i wouldnt bet on it.

 

Top Rank aren’t even bothering to include Campa’s face on the fight poster for the promos, that tells you everything you need to know about his chances

 

I think he has a decent shot imo. If fimo isnt 100% fully prepared mentally and physically he might take another L.

watched teo on max on boxing seems like hes mentally in the right place. could be some issues with a lay off and recovering from different injuries but this guy seems tailor made. i expect a stoppage

 

Campa has fought nothing but part time boxers. His record is riddled with guy who showed up for a case of tecate to fight. If Teo can't stop this hand pick KO he needs to retire.

 

He upsets Lopez if he lasts more than a round or two but no, he won’t win the fight.

 

Teofimo is favored @ -2400 and the Pedro is the underdog @+1200 That will be a huge upset if Pedro can pull it off.

 

Some percentage of fighters go off the rails after a loss and are incapable of winning anything, Broner syndrome.

+1200 isn't quite enough for the risk though.

If Lopez takes the same approach in round 1 that he did for Kambosos, then he actually should get the KO this time.

Might not be good for his development, but he's probably more worried about his ego than anything.

 

Bring Yory Boy Campas out of retirement and he'll have a better chance of an upset than this Pedro Campa.
