Can people now admit Eddie and AJ were the stumbling block to the big fights?

Now that Wilder and Joshua are boxing on the same show but not against each other. Hearn wants the lions share and all the control to make these big fights.

The irony is he's probably going to lose to the younger and hungrier Wallin but they don't want that smoke with Wilder.

I'm not defending Fury either he's went too commercial but he's definitely faced the harder challenges.

I think you are inferring the wrong things. It is true that Joshua & Wilder did not connect on finances 4 years ago when they should have, but that's on both teams.

And if the Saudis had come through with their original offer, they'd be fighting each other next month.

    This.

    It's baffling matchmaking on Eddie's behalf, he could have picked anyone from a number of contenders/gatekeepers to keep Joshua busy in the hope that the Saudis come up with the cash for the Wilder fight next;

But he picks a big 6'6 southpaw with a durable chin whose only loss is to Tyson Fury. The only upside is that if Joshua somehow does very well against Wallin, he one-ups Fury, but other than that I can't believe Eddie is putting Joshua in with a southpaw again, after AJ himself admitted he struggled with Usyk's southpaw style, when there's no need to take that risk.

I'm not complaining though, Wallin vs Joshua is an intriguing matchup, much more interesting than part-time boxer Franklin or the chinny ghost of Helenius.

Theres a weird angle against Hearn I see online.

Like hes the king of boxing and if a fight doesn't happen, its somehow his fault, and never the other side.

Or in the case of Saudi, the people who were supposed to be putting the fight on.

Aj and Wilder on the same show not fighting eachother is an absolute embarrassment

The Aj fanboys of course will see no wrong. Only Fury can do wrong

I admit to liking Fury more than Aj, but at least I call him out for his BS, like when he fought chisora and Ngannou

Wilder may have swerved Aj in the past? So ones like to parrot on here, but it's matchroom that is holding up that fight. Wilder would sign that contract in a heartbeat now.

Aj is done. He's afraid to get hit and a big puncher will retire him soon

No. Its on one team and that's team Wilder and PBC. Wilder famously "bet on himself" (and lost the bet). Now that Wilder left PBC the fight will happen assuming AJ and Deontay win in December...

This is not on AJ at all

I'm not sure what you're complaining about. This is a step in the right direction. We have promoters and broadcasters working together. Contracts sorted. Money sorted. A roadmap. If Joshua and Wilder both win their respective fights then we will see them fight next. Fury and Usyk are due to fight in February. This is what boxing needs. It's just a shame it's taken Saudi money to cut through all the greed and BS we've endured for the past few years.

Are we all just acting like Wilder didn't turn down HUGE money against Aj and admitted he went to Fury (First fight) for less now??

Not necessarily, although that is probably a secondary factor. Wallin is the IBF number 2. Should AJ win, he would fight Hrgovic for the title were it to become vacant; which it likely will following Usyk-Fury. Just gives them another option. He could fight at the O2 or at Tottenham (if the Wallin fight is a commercial success) for a world title.

Everyone is forgetting, Wilder hasn't fought anyone with a pulse for 99.5% of his career. His best win was unproven old man Ortiz. He cherrypicked a coked up fat slob Fury. When he robbed the cokehead, he had no choice for the rematch where he got the shite beaten out of him.

What makes anyone think Wilder was the guy trying to make the big fights ...I have no idea if AJ was ducking Wilder...but Wilder was absolutely ducking AJ

Wilder did refuse a 100 mill offer from DAZN, which included an AJ (And possible rematch) fight. So....
