Can people now admit Eddie and AJ were the stumbling block to the big fights?

The deal discussed was $100mm for Wilder spread over several bouts, including two against Joshua, but not first. According to ESPN, the $40mm purse for Wilder/Joshua I was contingent on them both winning other fights first. And guess who lost the interim fight. ...

So had Wilder signed the deal with DAZN, he'd have been overpaid to fight Brazaele (good!) but then lost the Joshua fight because AJ had to chase Ruiz to obtain his belts. I haven't seen it reported what Wilder's contract with DAZN would have paid him in the event of a Joshua defeat, but the bottom line is that Wilder vs. Joshua wasn't going to happen even if Wilder had signed with DAZN.

What Wilder did instead, after Brazaele, was Ortiz 2, Fury 2 & Fury 3. There's no way to compare the purses given AJ's defeat, but clearly Wilder was big game hunting and the Fury rematches (esp Fury 2) did very strong PPV sales.

Tyson Fury is the reason all these big fights are happening

He is the beginning and end of all things boxing.

    Yep.

We're also just acting like AJ didn't take unification fights (Parker, Klitschko), didn't take Povetkin, etc...

But Wilder did take Whyte and Povetkin, because they were ****ing begging him for it.

    Happy upside down world day.

Wilder and Hearn spent 10 hours on a flight together yesterday.

You guys are all living in the past.

Joshua and Wilder were supposed fight all THIS YEAR. But Joshua needed a tuneup with Franklin. Then Hearn said Wilder was next and an announcement would be coming any day. And then Joshua needed a tuneup with Helenius. And Hearn said Wilder was next and an announcement would be coming any day. And then Joshua needed a tuneup in December. And then Hearn said the fight was off and they are just looking at winning the title again.

Wilder hasn't needed any tuneups. He's been training for Joshua all year.

Now that they are both fighting on the same card in a few weeks, and Wilder is being as nice as can be, let's see if Joshua is done with his "tuneups."

Or will Hearn use Wilder to hype the December card, and then try to get Joshua a vacant title fight when the IBF strips the Fury-Usyk winner.

Why u smart master think AJ and Hearn agre to "play second fiddle" 23.12 and let Wilder be star numero uno here if they afraid him?
Why You assume that fight dont happend yet because of Joshua?

 not living in the f'n past, just providing a little bit of context.

But live in some weird world were Wilder has a ATG resume....so.

    10 defenses in 5 years against garbage....YAWN

Don't care what you think will happen. Wilder wants to have 1 round fought in two years that's up to him.

Why do you think AJ won’t fight Wilder? Is it Hearns fault? Is it still time for rebuilding?
