Paul in my honest opinion had a bad night. He looked sluggish, his punch output was down and he looked off. The rematch spoke volumes! Paul didn't come out swinging like it was something new. PAUL ALWAYS SWINGS and does it a lot.

Martinez is in trouble. If Wink couldn't out box Paul at 160......Sergio is in a world of trouble. I feel for Paul b/c he is looking for fights and no one wants it.

:patsch That triangle theory usually never works, so you can get to stepping with that logic...Just look at Cotto\Margorito\Mosley....Look at Mosley\Forrest\Mayorga, Taylor\Hopkins\Pavlik...I can on for days...Just because Quintana did it doesnt give Martinez the go ahead win! Try again!

You got a point. But Williams looked great against Winky after that. I'm sure it was partly due to Wink being inactive and aging, but that doesn't take away from what Williams was able to do with him. He has grown as a fighter since then, but Martinez is a real threat. Big, strong slick guy with good all around skills. He seems like he could be a bit too inactive. I guess we'll see if Martinez is as good as people are thinking.

Better question when did 116-112 become 115-113. Not only that but the rounds that Quintana won he won big, I know your a Williams troll but he was made to look real bad. PW is a solid fighter, just chalk it up to a bad performance and let it go.

That's nothing to do with any triangle theory. Quintana and Martinez haven't fought. How are you supposed to analyse any boxing match without looking at how fighters have performed previously?

True, PW looked great that night, but the reason he was able to tee off is cause Winky doesn't move fast. Sergio is all over the place, so I feel like this will negate Paul's best attribute, his workrate.

It has the potential of being a very tough fight. Not impossible for Martinez. Still I am going with Williams.

Williams was most definitely "OFF" that night! Whilst Quintana fought great and deservedly won the fight, Williams (Judging by his attitude before the fight) played a significant role in his own downfall!!! He believed that he only had to turn up to beat Carlos (PW was so laid back in the ring, during the announcements that I thought he was gonna break into a waltz!) and whilst we will never know if he would have out-boxed Quintana in their return, the fact is he came out looking 100% focused and ko'd Carlos in 1 round!! This fight with Martinez (Who is a live threat) will tell us if Paul's claim that he is the most avoided boxer on Earth has any substance (He certainly was "Swerved" by many whilst fighting at welterweight, but that probably had as much to do with his lack of marketability as anything else). I for one think that Martinez loses to a guy who we may one day recognise as a great fighter.

Re-read what was asked...I understand that they never fought that wasnt even my point...The whole point is that he thinks Martinez will replicate what Quintana did in the past...Paul is not the same fighter so its relevant to bring that given that dude used the exact same comparison....Martinez and Quintana are differnt fighters.

Can trolls not read, it was 116-112 twice, not that it matters that much. I never said it was a schooling, in fact it wasn't, just that Paul looked bad, could have just been an off night. And what does that mean you called me out? Would you like to fight me or something? It's a messageboard by the way, calm down.

Are you saying that QUintana vs Williams 1 could have gone either way? Absolutly not. Even Williams will admit that is was complet ownage.

In response to the original thread question, guys say they had a bad night all the time when they lose and I usually take it with a grain if salt but here I think it is true. I mean williams completly destroyed him in the rematch just complete and utter dominance. That's why it's so easy for people to forget the first one.

I'm actually not sure what you're reffering to. And if you don't care what I say then why are you so angry? Using all of your clever insults such as "dumb", "dense", and "****boy". Get back to talking about boxing.
