    It's nothing to do with being nostalgic this Heavyweight era just isn't that good end of....

    Most of the top 10 Heavyweights currently are in their late 30s and early 40s. Hardly any of them have any wins over top 10 ranked Heavyweights.....

    Fighters like Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, just those 3 combined had over 40 wins against top 10 ranked opposition. Compare that to the top 10 Heavyweights now who probably don't even have 10 wins against top 10 ranked opponents.....

    Slow robotic giants....... overweight slobs.....give me the smaller more skilled Heavyweights of yesteryear any day of the week.

    Fury you are a disgrace to the Heavyweight legends of the past that is all.....

    In fairness, Fury was very good once upon a time.

    They just didn't make the important fights when they had the chance and now it's too late. They're all broken, beaten and a shadow of their former selves.

    Fury would look just as amazing against Wilder today as he did in all his fights with him. He is the same fighter, only he's not fighting a one trick pony who he outweighs by 30 pounds
    I don't want to hear these same excuses when Usyk gives him a beating after months of Fury fans calling him a middleweight

    It's just that boxing is and has long been a very overrated combat sport

    Ngannou could knock out any HW who ever lived

    The supposed TBE Floyd was completely out-skilled and outslicked by the 0-0-0 Sugar ''Money'' Mac for the first four rounds. The only reason he didn't lose is because Sugar ''Money'' Mac ran right out of gas.

    Is it Fury who is bipolar or the boxing fans?

    I think we'll never know.

    What I do know Fury Usyk is a competitive fight where both men retire afterwards.

    This could have been a great era if these guys were all fighting each other on a regular basis. Too many tune ups and infrequent fights has ruined this era.

    Of course it is the top Heavyweights actually used to fight eachother... i already gave an example of Holmes, Lewis, Tyson, having 40+ wins over top 10 ranked opposition combined.

    How many of the current top 10 Heavyweights have even 5 wins over top 10 ranked 10 opponents ?

    Show me a Heavyweight fight in last 10 years that is remotely close to the technical brilliance of Holmes vs Norton.

    Show me a Heavyweight fight in last 10 years that has the aggression, workrate, inside fighting skills of Bowe vs Holyfield.

    This era is a joke.....Heavyweights in their late 30s early 40s who don't fight eachother who are slow giants or overweight slobs. The only Heavyweight now that is remotely like Heavyweights of past is Usyk and even he still needs to do alot proving at Heavyweight...

    The grass is always greener

    Until that is you get over there

    There were no MMA fighters to expose boxers and the sport of boxing for the vast majority of the history of boxing

    Had there been they 100% would've done so

    You constantly use this argument but I don't know if you're being serious?

    You understand that when comparing eras, the number of wins against top 10 opposition FROM YOUR OWN ERA doesn't count for much because you are only measuring yourself relative to your own time?

    For example:

    Era A's fighters have combined 0 wins over top 10 opposition in their era.
    Era B's fighters have a combined 1000 wins over top 10 opposition in their era.
    ergo era B's fighters will always win over era A's fighters.

    This is the argument you keep making, but it is not logically coherent because era A's fighters could be bigger, stronger, faster, more skilled, more industrious etc. and performances within their own era do not prove this either way.

    The supposed best Heavyweight of the current era just got floored and embarrassed by an MMA fighter making his pro debut how about that for an argument ?

    All this talk from you about how Heavyweights are "bigger and better" flawed logic as always. And when Usyk embarrasses Fury and sends him into retirement for good then maybe you'll realize size isn't everything....
