There are some drugs that can actually improve your reflexes / lower your reaction time. I don't know if they are "officially" classified as PEDs, nor if there is any testing for them. - and new drugs get developed constantly.

There's even a new technique, already used successfully by the US military on jet pilots, that uses direct electrical stimulation of the brain. I kid you not. I helps a person learn & remember things. In combination with meditation or hypnosis, it would probably help a boxer develop combinations & footwork.

It seems like there may be a dirty fighter are you trying to protect or justify in your mind with this maybe? At any rate, a musculare endurance PED like EPO I feel is the most effective for boxers. It does improve your technique, or rather helps you keep your technique past the point of where you would have been exhausted had you not used it. The heavyweight Larry Olubamiwo just tested positive for this drug. Lance Armstrong seemed to like it, as well. Although you could say it didnt improve his pedaling techniqueatsch I would also ad that boxers are normally not tested for EPO, unless the testing is being performed by WADA (World Anti Doping Agency)
