he was clearly disoriented, and even though Mayorga is a wild, clubbing puncher, he's a very devastating one, and even though Forrest won the first two rounds, quite a few of Mayorga's punches were seaping through to Forrest's chin, so, what makes you think that if the referee would've let the fight continue, that Mayorga (with Forrest dazed might i add) wouldn't have landed even more bombs, and knocked Forrest down again?????

McCloskey alone wouldn't propel Prescott to the place he needs to be to earn a Khan rematch, but it would be a good start, and he is certainly capable of doing it.

Yes he can beat McCloskey and I think he needs to do that and then pick up a couple more legit wins and then he will deserve a shot at Khan.

I'm not against a rematch but there are better opponents out there for Khan at this time and Prescott has basically been exposed twice now and is no longer seen as a legit threat to Khan by many boxing fans and Khan himself.

So that would mean that khan has face tim, kell, and breidis before he gets a shot at mayweather? I dont think he needs to rematch prescott, he definitely beats him. He's proven a lot since then. Nothing particulary special to me in this last 2 fights, but he would beat prescott without a doubt.

First off we never got a chance to find out. Second, this is s fight. What was Forrest supposed to say, "Hi, I'm Vernon Forrest. I'm ok Mr referee, please......let us continue"!

Mayorga landed a temple shot on Forrest for the record.

no he wasn't the referee made the decision to stop the fight based on Forrest's spaghetti legs and dazed look, and yea maybe Forrest should've said that so the fight could've continued, but he didn't and the record stands as Mayorga TKO 3 Forrest

Khan doesn't need to rematch him. Does Wlad still need to rematch Sanders? Or have they both developed into different fighters than they were?

Stop this nonsense. Khan's on another level now.

Look, I didn't like the decision by the ref. He stumbled back after he got up. This isn't ballet. I've seen far worse fighters come back and win fights they were badly dazed or hurt in, and you have too.

They shouldn't cos' Wlad is a completely different fighter now and had proved himself in many ways.

Khan would win the rematch, the rubbermatch, and fights 4-10 until Prescott was 1-9 against him.

Prescott will never earn another date with Khan.

    McCloskey should beat him easily.

And this guy beat Hopkins, should he have had a rematch?

Extreme example but you get my point.

I'd have to see Khan win a rematch. Khan should want a rematch on gp.
