kahn will probably get KTFO again if he fights prescott. obviously, that's what kahn thinks, otherwise they would have already had a rematch.

I would stake my life on the fact that Khan is praying to Allah that Prescott woops McCloskey. A rematch would bring big $$ and give himself and his fans some closure. Not to mention, it's not like a unification is gonna come soon, so why not take this fight if your Khan?

Khan doesn't necessarily need it, he's proven he's moved on and become a much better fighter. However I'd still like to see him rematch Prescott. We've seen how Tszyu often gets criticised for the Phillips loss, and that wouldn't exist had he rematched him and beat him. Golden Boy are talking about Morales-Khan for December, that's pretty much an execution and useless fight, might aswell fight Prescott should he beat McCloskey and get atleast something out of it.

If Prescott wasn't a worthy challenger, then his name would have been forgotten... Merely a foot note.... However, he's moved up to 140, and picked up some decent wins while improving his game... Now, he's one fight away from being a mandatory.. Because of the history, if Prescott gets the victory and Khan DOESN'T fight him, then it doesn't look good for Khan... It'll be taken as, he's ducking...

Understatement of the millennium so far.

...he does! At world level, he does. By club fighter standards, he's OK

    Nah.

    Not even.

He'll be lucky to win one.

...but I like the one you have. :verysad

I really don't know what you have against Prescott. I don't even consider myself a fan, he hasn't done much at all in his career; but you are always one to give "****" fighters the benefit of the doubt and respect as able-bodied boxers when others call them useless as human beings. Pirog looks rusty and a bit troubled against his comeback opponent, Maciel, and you say he "ain't bad at all," even though he's as much of a bum as Prescott, if not more. Are you just a fan of Khan, are you mad people act as if Khan MUST face Prescott? Do you hate his style? WHY?!

the winner of this fight will face the winner of maidana guerrero. i see that being maidana vs mckloskey, both of whom want a rematch with khan.

khan is looking to move up to ww by the time one of these guys will have won so i cannot see the fight happening.

i think khan will fight prescott and maidana maybe in 2013 after he has fought floyd

If he wins against Mccloskey, I'll give Prescott some credit, but until then, he has done nothing after winning against Khan to win at a higher level and instead went on to lose his next two fights against world class opponents.

Which decent wins has he had?

By the way, Prescott won't beat McCloskey. He's going to be embarrassed by him. I promise you that.
