Can Pulev still be a force?

He got brutally ko'd by klitchko, he came out ultra aggressive and paid the price for trying to early to take the fight to the king of the he division. He's defence was poor, it showed us how catastrophic a upright European style CAN be. The lazy left hand, and no head movement, he makes the klitchkos look slick. But ignoring all that, he showed heart and a good chin, one of those hooks would knock out wilder, fury, stiverne, glaskov and whoever. And pulev was taking them flush, you weren't seeing him ride any of the shots as you would see hopkins do or the astute veterans.
Now he lacks a right hand, that's his main problem, he NEEDs to be outboxing his opponent to win, and he does so with a very strong jab. No hooks, no uppercuts, an occasional body attack.

I think he's too limited, I just read he's changed trainers but it sounds like he won't be learning anything new as he takes on a German trainer under saulerland, these trainers don't produce top quality fighters, they produce sturdy champions who hold the belt hostage in Europe and don't dare fight the better american, british and latin fighters.
So pulev at 33 can't be a force. He hasn't got the natural skills or power of alexander povetkin, he will stagnate now. Which is a shame because he is a solid fighter. Who could upset anyone outside wladmir.

He needs to put his chin down when fighting.

Still top-5 heavyweight at this point easily. He beats Wilder and Fury, no doubt.

Is he still active anyway? I've checked a few times and absolutely no word from him about a new fight. I guess the $1,5m he got from that fight is too sweet. I'd like to see him against Povetkin though.

He is wide open for the left hook needs to learn to defend against that I don't think Wlad missed with one.

Right on the money. He is now a slightly damaged version of what he was before: a mediocre, fringe contender.

I noticed Pulev's guard is wide open as well. His arms are almost like goalposts, his guard is so wide.

He also needs to employ head movement.

Klitschko adjusted to him and knocked him out. However, who else in heavyweight division has as good left hook as Wladimir? His speed, timing and power determined everything in this fight.

Still, Pulev has enough speed to control almost any other opponent in the division. He is also very good in establishing his jab and with its help controling the pace. That is the reason why Klitschko felt uncomfortable there. Pulev has a good timing as well. However, he was tactically wrong and obviously underrated Klitschko paying him no respect.

He can be a threat to Joshua and Povetkin at this point. Wilder would knock him out with a right hand, and Fury would score a close decision victory. And I don't doubt Pulev can easily win any other heavyweight, like Perez, Stiverne, Glazkov, or whoever.
