can punches to the heart (chest) be deadly?

    This is a subject dear ta my heart -- no pun intended.

    For all the years years I've been on ESB, NEVER A MENTION. Plenty for the solar plexus 'n liver, but No love for the heart punch -- strictly 'ol school; like the sheriff that guns-down the bad guys 'n the town no longer has use for 'im. An artifact lost in time.

    But, the heart punch is a GAME CHANGER -- freezes a man, paralyzes 'im. A feather could tip 'im over.

    Those of you just learnin' to box, my guess is: if you mention the heart punch to your trainer, he'll think your talkin' a foreign language.

    If Dolph Lundgren would've bpxed, he wouldve devastated the 80's and likely would've been heavyweight champ for the last half of the 80's and part of the 90's.
    With Steward as his trainer , he would've smashed Tyson.
    I mean the guy obviously punches VERY hard, is 6'6, had great movement, 84' inch reach, and was a great tactician.

    i mean base ball players and lacrosse players are killed by line drives to the chest but i doubt any punch can do that much damage
