Being a southpaw would make no difference, L, but not affective if your opponent's constantly on his horse. Works best when you're jockeying for position -- bobbin' 'n weaving at close quarters, 'specially as a lead right down the pipe.

Here's howya do it: bend at the knees, lower than his guard, without leaning forward, fire.

It's a punch fighters rarely see, and they're not prepared, so it lands flush 'n freezes'em from countering.

Instead of admiring your work, put a right hook to the jaw behind it 'n you can finish him right then. He's paralyzed, standing straight-up, begging to be clobbered.

Like the violinist who asked how to get to Carnegie Hall: "PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE"

Punches to the throat and to the chest CAN be deadly, but I've neevr heard of such a thing happening in actual licenced compeition. A punch to the throat can be deadly for the obvious reason, and shots to the chest can both stop your heart or even collapse your lungs... but like I said, I've never heard of such things occuring to trained fighters only average goes who were either hit too hard or too often.

If it was such a common occurrence then kyokushin karate would be outlawed by now. To my understanding the main objective is to punch your opponent in the chest (no head punches allowed) and this is done either bare-fisted or with MMA style 4 ounce gloves.

can punches to the balls(scrotum) be deadly?:hey

  8. punch to the chest especially to the heart area risks the boxer of developing cardiac tamponade ( in lay man's term) compression of the heart by blood or effusions.

there is a severe danger of pericardial rupture, the delicate lining that covers the heart. having said this, when the heart is compressed, there will be decrease in

cardiac output. blood that is being pumped will not be enough to your vital organs especially the brain. less oxygenation to the brain and other organs, weakening of

the heart or stoppage will eventually put the patient 6 feet under.

Don't think Suzanne Sommers' Ab Roller will help you from a heart contusion. You know, the heart is a muscle and it can get bruised smacking up against your ribcage?

You're right, Chuck Norris's Total Gym would be a better defense mechanism against heart stopping punches.

Medically speaking, a punch to the chest could be deadly if ever the SA node gets stimulated which may cause the heart to beat irregularly and may cause the fighter to collapse.

  14. could be.. read my explanation ;)
