Floyd Mayweather's amateur accomplishments: Olympic Bronze Medalist.

Guillermo Rigondeaux's amateur accomplishments: 2 Time Olympic Gold Medalist ( favorite to win his 3rd Gold too ), 7 Times Cuban National Champion, many times PanAm Champion, many times World Amateur Champion and was the best " P4P amateur boxer in the World " for almost a decade...He is possibly the best amateur of all times ( very closely with the other Cubans Stevenson and Savon ).

Does Rigondeaux have a chance at surpassing Floyd Mayweather's achievements as a pro?

I say YES. Rigondeaux is 10 times more accomplished than Floyd and probably much more talented too, only he can mess up his career but he seems very dedicated...

Would love to hear everyone's opinion on this topic!

    No.

    To old at 29.

It took Floyd 10 years to make those accomplishments.

Still he could be great if they rush him a bit.

If he can get the right fights. He'd have to get deals with all the champs now. I'm not sure that's gonna happen right away and given his age...

This thread has got to be a joke. Maybe if Rigondeaux was 10 years younger?
