Mtwaga is no pushover and gamboa better be focused on him, because i think gamboa's chin is a lil shaky, although he got up off the canvas to ko guys,i still remembering him getting knocked down by guys on espn 2.I wouldn't be shocked,if mtwaga pulled off a upset, because gamboa gets a little wild and leaves himself open for counters and against a vet like mtwaga it might work against him. This will be a very tough test for gamboa and gamboa might even taste the canvas, but i think in the end gamboa will prove his toughness and win a close decision.

Gamboa's a bit too slick for Mtagwa, I don't think it will be like the Juanma-Mtagwa fight. Gamboa will be the faster guy, Juanma was very stationary in that fight, and Rogers will find it harder to hit Gamboa, I think. I wont be suprised if he knocks Gamboa down though.

    Gamboa UD.

    Yes.

Stylistically I think Mtagwa gives Gamboa more problems.Gamboa is a offensive machine who puts himself out of position often times and hasn't yet managed to become as calm and natural as he should.
Mtagwa made Lopez fight his fight at times plus his chin is made of granite so if he can take what Gamboa dishes out early on he will make it a fight.

  4. Gamboa is naturally bigger and stronger than Juan Ma so I think he'll have an easier time of it. Doesn't mean Mtwaga won't make him work for it.

I think Gamboa will handle Mtgawa a lot easier. Mtgawa is a tough SOB but in the end Gamboa will come out with a UD. Juanma has only himself to blame for the poor performance in that fight.

I think he might be able to. He will have to defend against the power and speed of Gamboa and that will be very tough. I'm sure Gamboa's the fastest guy Mtagwa has ever fought. If he can handle Gamboa's style he will give him problems.

When Gamboa gets wild in there only he knows how to do it! He does it at lightning speeds, something Mtagwa hasn't experienced before. Also, Gamboa's punches are much more powerful than Lopez. Gamboa has improved much as of lately and is more composed and relaxed as he knows that he also has to control himself. He will not be " as wreckless " against Mtagwa but will be very controled. His " chin problem " like you guys say is a " mirage ". Anybody that gets tagged in the chin moving at the speeds that Yuriorkis moves will get caught off balance and end up with one glove touching the floor! Nothing else!!!

When have you seen Yuriorkis " layed out flat on the floor "??? NEVER.

Gamboa will make Mtagwa look " ordinary ", after all Gamboa is an Olympic Gold Medalist, 4 times Cuban Champ and 3 times World Amateur Champion. And Mtagwa?????? :rofl

No decision for Yuriorkis, Gamboa will KO Mtagwa in mid rounds...

    CASE CLOSED.

:good i'd like to see how gamboa will handle himself knowing an opponent can take his best punches, as brutal as they might be. rogers is as tough as they come, but i trust gamboa will be versatile enough and his boxing pedigree should probably show us skills we are not aware of.

Gamboa is going to make Mtagwa look like what he is -- a journeyman. JuanMa made this guy look like a prime Antonio Margarito, but Gamboa has the speed and power to knock this guy down 4-5 times en route to a mid round TKO.
