Can Ronald Hearns be a force in boxing??

  1. His win tonight was impressive but the guy he fought is a nobody. How would Hearns fair against stiffer competition??

not that good now, he needs more time to develop he has a god natural tools, like speed, but he still make alot of mistakes and top fighters at 154 to 168 will make hay out of these errors

He has more tools than I thought he did, quick hands and feet, and he is improving. His work ethic is promising. His most glaring weakness right now is his utter lack of an inside game. Anyone who could crowd him effectively at this point would be a very dangerous opponent. His frame also has me wondering about his physical strength, and at damn near 30, that's not going to get much better.

I think he's a superior natural athlete to Buddy's kid. For whatever that is worth...

Guys like Kirkland and Angulo would truck him.

It all depends on how well he takes it and not just how he can deliever... I want to see these young guys toughing it out instead of playing flashy and slick and living up to names only...

he'll get dragged into a war with duddy, get heavily beat down simply because he doesn't have the power to hurt duddy,he has a height and reach advantage but duddy is very good at creating a gap to work on the inside!

there are many better fighters out there than john and by me saying that john beats him does mean that i think the top level beat him simply because he isn't good enough to utilise his natural ability at a higher level!
