can Ronald Hearns come back and win a world title

No he's simply not that good and got started boxing too late.

 

No he got starched badly went he stepped up to barely C level and he's already 30.

Not a hope in hell of winning a title.

 

I love his Father and his fighting but I have to be honest about Ronald. He is not his father. He does not have the amateur experience or the fights or power.. He looks like his dad and has some of the same habits because he is tall and tall fighters have to fight in similar ways, but the experience at a high level is the problem. He is tall and it can do ok for him, but to improve what he needs is 20 more fights and gradually move up the rankings learning the game and the small little things his father already knew at age 19. But he is 30 years old and he does not have the time. So I think he will do ok and then lose again in a similar way. I want him to do well, but just because I want it doesn't mean it will happen. He went down a little too much and easy with the last guy he fought. One positive step would be to get Manny Steward. Another is to tighten up his defense and work the jab and set up the right but not go crazy with it. Start to work the body more also inside to keep guys outside where he will do better. Also working the body is good because most guys want to get a tall guy on the inside, so if he lands body shots he can use it to his advantage. Working on defense would be good also. How to avoid punches at close range and still punch. He could do well if he polishes up big time. He needs work, but it could be done with the help of Emanual. It could be done but in all likelyhood his age is the problem. If he were 22 I could see it easier than at 30.

Unfortunately he's not that talented and on top of that, he's in a division where he can't beat any of the top guys (He couldn't beat Dz, Williams, Stinks, Sergio Martinez or Vernon Forrest) and the "younger" guys in the division like Angulo and Lara would destroy him.

Nope. If he'd been born a heavyweight, probably.

 

I know all fighters say this after a loss, but I have it on pretty good authority Ronald was injured before the fight, decided to fight on anyway and lost. He did look awful. And the injury isn't something that should have in any way forced him to look that bad. But, he is a hard worker and junior middleweight isn't that stacked so he could still make some noise with the right matchup. He is a great guy outside of the ring as well so I'll be rooting for him.

All these fighters above eventually will fall off the wagon like Duddy and Hearns already done did.

It is just a matter of the wrong fight at the right time meaning a nobody will probably land them their 1st loss
