Classic example of two great fighters not knowing when to quit.

Roy can and Should, but I want to see Hopkins in against Dawson or Haye, he deserves to be KTFO.

Well said. I rather two past it,shot fighters face each other than young lions. Either of them would've gotten destroyed by hungry, younger competition.

Sadly they both looked their age yesterday,Hopkins had his last great perfomance against Pavlik and Roy had his against Jeff Lacy

We wont be seeing anymore great performances from them

Its hurts me to say this, because Bernard is my fav fighter,But he seriously needs to hang them up

He looked Horrible and slow and uneffective,Hes needs to retire

And Roy .... well we all knew he shouldve hung them up years ago

He looked horrible and very slow as well,Not once did we see any flashly combos from Roy,Their both done

Good post. I agree with everything you said especially what I highlighted. Hopefully my fav fighter Shane doesn't look his age in May or I might be depressed.....

I don't get the lack of respect for fighters still willing to fight. If you don't want to watch, don't watch. I think it's amazing that a 45 year old he still has the drive to train and fight and it's interesting to see just how long he can go. And it's cool to see an old man hang with the latest cocky kid.

I don't understand fans who want to see their favorite fighter safely retire rather than continue to challenge themselves.

The lamest thing is when a fighter retires while still in their prime.

I absolutely agree about RJJ but I really think that Hopkins has 4-5 good fights left in him. Remember, he's a health/fitness nut and he's a ring genius. He's just not very exctiting.
