Samuel "Night Mare" Peter is one of the best heavyweight today. Can he lead in this decade and reamtch with Wladimir Klitschko will bring more interes in the hevayweight today. We mising hard fights like before.
Remember fights of last decade of Lennox Lewis , Mike Tyson, Ridick Bowe and Evander Holyfield.

He can, but he needs to get in better physical shape, the raw power will always be there for him. I feel in this weak state of Heavyweights, Peter can bring excitement back into a dying division, he is not only enertaining in the ring, but his work behind the mic is better than the guy ahead of him in the rankings.

I do believe Wlad is the best boxer out there right now, but his lack of toughness and mental strength make him look less than stellar at times, if Peter could get him in trouble and have the stamina to follow up, Wlad will get either knocked out or stopped, when hurt, Wlad falls apart like a wet paper towel. If Peters in shape and ready to go, no fighter out there will have an easy time with him, if he comes in overweight and over confident, then he might find himself at the end of a huge right hand.

He'd be the champion in a pie eating contest, but he won't defeat Wladimir.

Peter is a big puncher but that's all he has going for him. His KO over Maskaev didn't impress me at all:roll: His first win over James Toney was a robbery and he was almost KO'D by Mcline:-( I think the best person to spark interest back in the heavyweight division is gonna be David Haye.

Peter gets bashed relentlessly in some circles, but he has the potential to be the top HW of this era. He's still young, and if he were to beat Wlad, as he almost did when they first met, his stock would go way up. Peter's a hard puncher with an exciting style - he could do alot to increase the popularity of boxing.

He don't have the charisma of a Heavyweight Champion.
meaning even if he beats all the mentioned, he will never be a superstar.
If we place David Haye in Peter's shoes right now, Haye is plastered all over the place.
Haye has it! that extra it takes to reach super stardom.
(Not saying he will beat Peter, but That is the element Peter is missing Charisma Oh! and a chin aswell)

So you're saying that Peter would be better for boxing if he were the champion instead of Wlad? I beg to differ, Peter fights like a caveman and talks like a cheap thug with a 2nd grade education.

I don´t think so. Most feel he lost the first Toney fight. He also almost got KOed vs McCline, who is a fringe contender at best. In the second Toney fight, some people felt Toney was out of shape but still Peter couldn´t KO him. He failed to KO Robert Hawkins recently as well.

Peter´s boxing skills are not that good, so if he can´t KO his opponents, he might easily be outboxed over the distance. I also don´t feel Peter is an exciting character or that he has much charisma. The excitement over him KOing opponents is also overrated, because Maskaev is the only top 10 fighter he ever KOed. The others were fringe contenders or journeymen.

Even if Peter gets lucky and beats Wlad, or if Wlad goes away, I think some of the other fighters like Povetkin, Solis, Valuev, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Dimitrenko and Haye will manage to beat him down the line.
