Sam Peter is a poor mans Ray Mercer. His boxing skills are minimal, he might be ******ed and he learns nothing from his fights. His best performance was TOney 2 and apparently unleared the jab and movement he displayed in that fight and went back to lumbering around the ring looking like a bum.
Tsk tsk, thats not nice. But please other than a Haye fight, please name a better fight finacially and ringwise.
That doesnt make him a number 2 in the division, something like that is earned in the ring. Lets see him take on a couple of top 10 heavies.
That's right game over . . . Hayes is not even rated at the heavy weight division yet. Here . . . read and educate yourself. http://www.fightnews.com/rankings2.htm
So you honestly believe that what the business needs is a Wlad vs Peter or Wlad vs Chagaev? so once the two fights for Wlad are out the way, you dont see this fight happening? The word is the major US networks are looking for Wlad to be removed due to his boring turgid fights and how the major networks in Germany have basically got a stranglehold on the heavyweight division. Regardless of how much I actually rate Wlad, I dont see how long he can really hold out from this fight. But please carry on being a Internet warrior, and convince yourself that Sam Peter is a top class fighter.
yeah ok.... A bunch of punches landed by Maskaev also seemed to have more effect on Peter than the barrage of straight rights that Wlad had landed on him. Does Maskaev punch harder than Klitschko? I don't think so. The Maskaev fight presented more evidence that Peter's chin is nowhere near what it was in the Klitschko fight. Peter will get KOed soon... mark my words.
The word from where? What networkS? As far as I know, Klitschko is shown on only one network and when he fights there, the commentators usually support him.
'fraid not ! He can't beat Wlad, nor, if he makes it to the ring, Vitali. There may be others better too. He's not in great shape, plods, and never had a lot of skill. A nice lad, game and personable. But he doesn't have the right stuff.
Klitschko's next few fights in order of importance to boxing: Thompson (WBO Mandatory) Povetkin (IBF Mandatory) Chagaev or Valuev (WBA Championship) Peter (WBC Championship) Haye (Big mouth that needs to be shut) That's a pretty tall order but I believe Wladimir is up to the task. :thumbsup
........my previous post was for the guy who said Klitschko needs to fight Haye because it's the biggest, best fight at HW right now or some **** like that.
