Well put. I am a Peter fan but feel he is not serious enough about working hard enough to attain his potential. He needs to get in much better shape and train harder. Period.

As for beating Wlad in a rematch, he absolutely has a good chance as we all know, the combination of Wlad's very weak chin and the fact that it hasn't been touched in 3 years, could spell disaster when it actually does get tagged again. My feeling is that, deep down, Wlad fans want nothing to do with Peter... despite all of their nonsense BS trashing of Peter being a C rate fighter etc. etc. tec. :yep

The Toney rematch showed some nice improvements but expected it to go all out the window after it, so it's safe to say no.

Peter is a C Rate fighter. Problem is Wlad isn't much better than a C rate himself.

Peter, if committed, could beat Wlad with ease. Problem is whens the last time he was committed? The 2nd fight against a shot Peter?

He needs to stop fighting his own success.

 

Wlad is only a C grade fighter? You can't possibly be a boxing fan and believe that.

come on, not much better than c level? monte barrett is c level. witherspoon and bruno are b level. wlad is b+ at least by now but he can achieve a level if he unifies and rules the division for another 3 years.

 

Right now he's the best Klitschko & his resumé is better in quality & quantity. That was established in another thread if you remember.

Wlad has an ATG jab, on par with the likes of Lewis, Holmes, Golota, Bowe, Liston, etc. He has ATG power in both hands, great footwork too & he's beaten the best of the current HW's and he's going to unify the belts which is harder to do now than any other time in history. With all the mandatory defenses, politics, and the sheer number of belts nec. to consider himself undisputed.

I would give Wlad a B, and Peter a B-, Peter is mentally stronger than Wlad, in every way. Wlad is physically superior, there power is comparable, and Wlad has **** load more skills. All in all, there pretty close, there fight in 05 proved that, if I remember correctly, one of the commentators said something along the lines of " Wlad nearly escaped with the win tonite, it wasnt pretty". If Wlad and Peter meet up again, it should be a very interesting fight indeed, seeing Peter was the last fighter to give Wlad a tough fight in the ring.
