Can Sasha Povetkin still fight against those giants?

Probably not. I suspect Povetkin without PEDs is like the Povetkin who struggled against Huck, only now an older version.

 

Of course he can. Even without roids he can beat some of them. I give him little chance of beating Fury,50/50 chance beating Joshua, would beat Wilder, would KO or UD Whyte and would beat Miller in a nasty slugfest.

 

Who has Whyte or Miller beat and what they achieved in the amateurs to stand chance against experienced Povetkin?!

 

Yes, he's the most skilled of the bunch on the front foot for me (Ortiz prefers to wait and counter), he throws defense unlocking combinations and he has bricks for fists.

I'm confident he'd beat Wilder and Parker if the fought tomorrow and he'd stand a damn good chance against Joshua too. He is levels above Whyte and Miller.

 

Would be interesting to see Povetkin against Wilder last night. I admire Alexander's level of skill and boxing style . He uses his lack of height , as a advantage with taller opponents. His crouching counter hooks, always seem to be hard to avoid.

 

Yes he can beat those monsters and all those monsters could beat him and each other. This is the post wlad era we were waiting for.

 

Povetkin is LEVELS above anyone Wilder has faced - He KO's this complete and utter fraud. Based on the problems Takam caused Joshua I'd make him an extremely live underdog(30-40%) remember Povetkin can do everything Takam does and then some but carries lethal power.

He already beat a guy like Wach who is bigger than either of them black and blue.

He went the distance with Wlad.

He destroyed Duhaupas who Wilder huffed and puffed to beat.

 

Povetkin certainly has the skills to compete but I just can’t envision him beating Wilder and AJ he gets sparked by those two...just superior human specimens.

 

Povetkin despite being almost 40 can most certainly beat these two. Povetkin is an elite specimen. Wilder and Joshua are glass houses ripe for being shattered.

 

I doubt even a prime Povetkin gets past Wilder and AJ....Wlad wasn’t as aggressive as I’d imagine Wilder and AJ would be, just my humble opinion

 

Literally any version of Povetkin would beat Whyte or Miller, including the one that went life and death with Huck. He's still the best challenger out there for Joshua and Wilder.
