Can Sasha Povetkin still fight against those giants?

Whyte was almost KO'd by a shot Helenius who had almost fully lapsed into sparring partner mode, Miller while tough is extremely basic. He's never beating someone like Povetkin and would almost certainly get knocked out at some point.

I am more than confident a prime Povetkin sparks out Wilder and Joshua, Sasha is a superior technician and accomplished amateur boxer. His Tsar bomb will blow away these westerners with extreme prejudice.

His skills are elite. Physically he is lacking compared to some of the true SHW of the division. Which shows how good he is.

I think even Usyk is larger than Povetkin.

I think Usyk is 6'3 and Pov is 6'2. So heightwise that would be true. But Pov is a pretty stocky MF, he carries a lot of weight in his shoulders and back. Although he isn't yet square like Vovchanchyn :D

Vovchanchyn could probably knock out Wilder too.

With AJ he’d be overwhelmed and TKO’d with Wilder he’d try to cut off the ring and get caught with an awkwardly placed counter that puts him on Bambi legs and Wilder eventually closes the show. Povetkin is quite a tank but he’s not overly powerful and he’s never been the finest example of fast twitch muscle fiber. I’m certain you feel differently but to each his own sir.

Yet outside of Wlad he's beaten much better opposition....

Wilder's best win is Stiverne.....AJ is still unproven outside of a 41yo inactive Wlad.

Wlad is a much heavier and devastating puncher than Wilder and Povetkin hung tough, outside of age he wins.

Fast Twitch Muscle fibers are also responsible for your POWER, and Povetkin most certainly HAS power. He gets a lot of heat for going life and death with Huck, but Huck himself is an elite cruiserweight, he wasnt just some bum, like the ones Wilder feeds on.

Povetkin is horribly overrated. Even juiced to the eyeballs he struggled badly with Takam, whos barely a top10 HW h2h. Without roids he was lucky to get a win over Marco Huck.

He loses to all those guys. Joshua and Wilder would absolutely destroy him.

Povetkin is very skilled, but he is clearly slowing down just like Ortiz is. That said I would still favor him over over Fury, Joshua, and Miller at the weights you posted. Povetkin even at 38 isn't someone to be underestimated and he isn't a fat lazy slob like Stiverne. If Fury, Joshua, or Miller show up in anything less than top condition I could see Povetkin beating them.

Fury under 250 is very agile, elusive, and has great stamina.

Joshua should never be over 245. His hand speed, agility, and stamina suffer when he comes in over 250.

Miller is also another guy that if he gets his weight under control could possibly be a world champ, but that won't happen at 300lbs.

He'd KO Wilder and go life and death with Joshua. 100%.

Wlad is a naturally heavier puncher but he’s also a standard puncher with a traditional arsenal meaning it’s easier to anticipate the trajectory of his attack. Wilder for all his flaws and lack of foundation is a devastating puncher in his own right...his body and ability to move is quicker and much more unpredictable. Listen I’m just providing a different perspective and while Wilder has faced subpar competition there’s no denying his speed and fluidity would provide a completely different challenge for Povetkin.

That version of Huck is better than anyone Wilders beaten thus far.. Hell, even the current Huck is better than most of his defenses.

Yes it is a contributor but Povetkin doesn’t possess the same level of natural fast twitch that wilder does. You can work on improving what you’re born with but you can’t create (volume wise) more of the fibers. Listen I don’t want to go off on a tangent here...I mentioned Wilder needs to step up his comp no question there.
