He recently made his comeback after a 7 year lay off picking up a TKO victory over undefeated Gyorgy Mizsei Jr. Now I know its a long road back to the top for him (this fight being for the International Masters lightweight title) but its not at all impossible, especially as Erik Morales was able to roll back the years in his comeback

Of course the dream fight would be against fellow scotsman Ricky Burns but there are a long list of challengers at lightweight domestically, from the bottom up :

Willie Linmond - A decent step up from the inexperienced Mizsei Jr, Linmond has shared the ring with world champions such as Khan, Morales and british champs Arthur and Crolla

Carl Johanneson / Derryl Mathews - Winner of this fight for the british title

John Murray - Recently stopped by Keving Mitchell and Brandon Rios, could be damaged goods but who knows?

Liam Walsh - Undefeated WBO Euro title holder, could be an interesting fight for both men

Kevin Mitchell - on the comeback from the Katsidis loss with two good wins however like harrison has been troubled by personal problems outside the ring, Harrison could catch him at the right time

Gavin Rees - Former World champion and current European and british champion, pretty much the cream of the crop at domestic level (burns aside) a very tough test seeing how Rees has looked so dominant at the weight in his last two fights.

Ricky Burns - Former 130 champion and current WBO lightweight world champion, this fight would spark a lot of interest in scotland

Also on a side note I spoke to Miguel Mathews (Beat Harrison via TKO in the 4th back in 1997) and joked about him coming out of retirement aswell for a rematch with the scot to which he replied "Yeah would love to, dont think hed be to keen on it though"

the 4 mentioned above no way man

from your previous post still too early to tell, lets not forget he was fighting a boy in his last fight out as of right now he loses to all of them imo until he shows me something by beating someone half decent or even close to the likes of limond and walsh

Would be shocked if he did, certainly the level of fighter he fought in his comeback not going to tell us one way or another

IBO title is achievable, and fairly credible. I think Harrison should fight Derry Matthews next. That would be a great indication of where he's heading.

    Derry who??? lol

Isn't that what he said when asked if he would fight Derry for the British title!!!

It will be hard for Scott to win the World title but if anybody has the mindset for being able to achieve this it is Scott, he is one determined individual when he has the correct head on.

But even with his great mindset and determination nothing can stop father time and only time will tell if his time inside has actually done him the world of good or if his time as a world class fighter is over.

For me I'll just enjoy watching how this unfolds and either way it will be exciting seeing where he actually ends up in the grand scheme of things.

Scottish boxing needs a big draw and no disrespect to Ricky Burns, he just isn't exciting, he manages to win but he reminds me of a robot some times.

I know that people will say that winning is all that matters and I agree to a certain extent but nothing better than watching a fighter get the win and it being an exciting fight is there!!!!
