If Ruiz is over 270 again, it's not a good sign.

This could be a big betting opportunity. Ruiz is listed as 6''2' on Boxrec but in reality he is only 5''10'. He is naturally not a big man, just a 70 pound overweight cruiserweight. He has fought no one and has not gone past 4 rounds in his last 7 fights. He's the Mexican Butterbean who was dominated even by Tor Hamer.

People seem to think that Liakhovich is a shot fighter just because he lost to three (now still) unbeaten contenders. But he gave 9 hard rounds to Helenius and Jennings. Unlike with Helenius, Jennings and Wilder, he will have size and reach advantage against Ruiz (carrying around 70 pounds of lard will not help Ruiz).

Maybe if Ruiz did not bother to train and Liakhovich is using Performance Enhancing Discipline.

Those who said Liakhovich is shot were right. Very winnable fight against the Mexican Butterbean, but he looked like he wasn't there to win. He wasn't half the man he was against Jennings and Helenius.

He didn't even look like he trained for this one... If he did he probably would have won.

All he needed to do was sack up earlier. He bossed the 6th-9th and had Ruiz befuddled. (and did well in the fifth)
