Can Sky really get away with DeGale vs Groves on its own as a PPV?

the first Magnificent 7 bill didn't have a world title.

and I'll say the 2nd Mag7 bill as well because I ain't counting an interim title as a "world title"

Khan v Maidana was for a world title, and that was the same PPV.

The Liverpool card had Khan vs Maidana from the states.

Who cares about bloody world titles? They mean nothing. Cleverly is now a champion because of nothing. Beating Karo Murat? Pfft **** off.

Juergen Braehmer was a champion for again what? Again nobody knows.

DeGale/Groves + Cleverly/Bellew would be 2 really good all British fights and that alone would still be better than Khan/Salita, Khan/***an, Khan/Barrera even and Haye/Harrison combined in my opinion.

Braehmer pulled out unwell in a unification fight recently also with the WBA champ Shumenov.
As for pay per view. Lately in general alot of the shows havent been up to the same standard as the big pay per view shows of the 90s in my opinion.
Cleverly, DeGale and Groves arent pay per view names yet. They are all very good up and comers/contenders, but not at that stage yet.
The Groves/DeGale fight has been built up well and created alot of interest but it is only a British and Commonwealth fight

Cleverly vs Braehmer was a 50-50 fight Cleverly vs Bellew isnt.

by all accounts he walked away from the unification fight and didn't even tell Goosen about it, he's done exactly the same here.

Thata whats most shocking. Warren new Braehmers history. Half the bloody forum said Braehmer wouldnt show up. So why not have Bellew vs McEnzie already on the undercard?

Worst case scenario you have a fully fit Bellew in with Clev. If Braehmer shows up you have a good fight on the undercard.

Bellew had the hand injury, only just recently recovered I doubt he is in much more than general training at the moment.

yet people are creaming themselves over the possibility. Im not interested in seeing a domestic level fighter at 50% fight a world level fighter at 100%

at least khan vs mccloskey was a title fight.

    wtf is groves vs degale.
    this fight means **** ALL!

its a great fight and im super psyched its happening, but int he grand scheme of things both are still novices compared to how good they can be.

win/lose both fighters have a lot to learn and will get better and better.

this would be a great ppv fight if it was in 24 months.
but hey im not complaining i cant wait till saturday!

    But its not ppv worthy
