    wasn't marquez & cotto under GBP during the Floyd fights? I'm confident cotto was a free agent during the mayweather fight.... I'm also think margarito was under GBP during the time of the mosley fight as well... I might be mistaken though

    you might be right for pacquiao vs mosley though.

    Yeah it was Lara/Martirosyan, they where forced by the sanctioning body at the time.
    Maybe we need more sanctioning bodies to force manadatories/purse bids for these fights to come to fruition. How about the WBO make Matthysse Provodnikovs mandatory?

    They co-promoted between 2007 and 2009 after they settled the Pac lawsuit. After the failed Pac/May negotiations things went dead.

    example: Hopkins v Pavlik...with Hopkins ranting after the fight that he was putting Top Rank out of business .

    I'm not sure that any of those are right. Didn't Mosley leave Golden Boy just so he could land the Pac fight? And wasn't Cotto a free agent when he faced Floyd?
