The man is delusional, he thinks he was robbed? He said Adamek won only 3 rounds. I guess he thinks he won based on the raised hand after every round. Problem is he was raising that hand even when Adamek was tagging him at will and he was just walking around the ring.

I think it must have been his fathers influence, in the corner hooting and hollering every round that he is clearly winning the fight.

    I gave Estrada 3 rounds.

He got outworked, plain and simple. Instead of talking so much **** in the ring, and show boating, he should have done more boxing.

I don't know what fight he was at that he thinks he got "robbed". The guy is ****ing unbelievable. What a joke. :patsch

Adamek would have won more convincingly if he hadn't followed his trainer's game plan, which was to keep Estrada at bay with the left jab and avoid an inside fight. He did enough to win, but he failed to impress the casual fan. I thought his speed would be a huge advantage at HW but now I have my doubts. Haye, Chambers, Wlad, even Kingpin look to have superior handspeed.

The fight was close but Adamek clearly won it 8-4 or 7-5. There's no way Estrada won, none.

Estrada's father was making **** up to negate the audience's influence on his son's performance I guess but he went way overboard. It was really silly how Estrada kept raising his hand after every round, he should watch the fight and stop making a fool of himself because he's a decent fighter.

Not directed at anyone in this thread but there has been a lot of people making a real effort to come out and say that Adamek dominated and had an easy time. Yes, he won clearly and with something to spare but he was tagged and it didn't go all to plan. Many predicted, including myself that he would get rid of Estrada before the end. And now that the smoke has cleared people have begun to spin their story to say "ah well he outboxed a very skillful boxer". Well, Estrada is skilled but at the level he has fought at to date. Adamek's extra bulk didn't help him and I think he needs to shed the extra mass before he faces Arreola. Adamek didn't shine as I thought or anticipated he would and there are still unanswered questions about his heavyweight future in my opinion. I think he would be more comfortable a division down but I understand the financial benefits of the heavyweight division.

    100% agree.

But Estrada is still talking nonsense.

Haven't seen this fight yet but it's interesting how critical boxing fans can be of one lack lustre performance... Vitali didn't know out Johnson, Adamek didn't dominate Estrada.. I think if you have a look back at some of the ATG's you'll see they had their fair share of boring fights and off nights.

It's like arguing that Kevin Johnson beat Vitali Klitschko due to effective and hurtful scoring showboating.

Agreed. Personally, I'm referring to the element that fail to admit the the performence was at least sub-par. I expect the same reaction from many posters here after Haye fights Ruiz. Should Haye struggle, all of a sudden he is ****.

Sounds fair. What I can add is that Adamek needs more and more fights at HW. Its a new experience to him when he is the smaller and the lighter guy. I think that this weight (220) may be optimal because he will thicken his muscles during next months. In the fight with Estrada it was visible that these 220 pounds are giving him some troubles. When Adamek gets steady at 220, he will have better stamina and quickness, and quickness implicates power. Adamek-Haye at the end of the year would be great fight to fans :bbb

It may be that he needs time to adjust at heavy and to the extra bulk, or just to lose some of it (about 5 lbs) which doesn't sound much but would probably make a noticable difference. He seemed palpably tired towards the end and the likes of Holyfield, Moorer (early on) and even Haye fight around the 215 mark, which seemed their best weight. Here's hoping he continues his sucess at heavyweight......until he fights Haye.
